Mold steel, cavity count, runner system, slides, lifters and interchangeable inserts are selected around the enclosure geometry, target volume and expected tool life. DFM review focuses on draft, wall transitions, ribs, bosses, gate location, ejector layout and parting lines before steel cutting.
Process windows are developed to manage filling balance, sink around bosses, weld lines, dimensional repeatability and warpage on broad enclosure surfaces. Critical dimensions and cosmetic surfaces are identified on the drawing so process control can focus on the features that affect assembly.
Where the assembly requires more than molded plastic, Sunmy can coordinate heat-staked or ultrasonic brass inserts, CNC post-machined connector openings, stamped shielding parts, turned spacers and custom fasteners within one project scope.
Molded textures, smooth or semi-gloss surfaces, custom color matching, pad printing, screen printing and laser marking can be reviewed to match the product architecture. ESD, conductive or flame-retardant compounds are selected by exact resin grade.

| OEM Customization | Built to customer 2D/3D drawings or samples - from fit-check prototypes and tooling through pilot and repeat production |
Connector windows, PCB mounting positions, ventilation, internal supports and cover retention are customized to the real board and mating components, reducing the compromises created by off-the-shelf project boxes.
Gate position, wall thickness, rib/boss design, undercuts, draft and assembly interfaces are reviewed before mold release. Interchangeable mold inserts or secondary machining can be evaluated for variant control.
Fit-check prototypes, CNC-machined or 3D-printed samples can be used before production tooling. Tooling route, cavity count, sampling plan and production scale are selected according to design and volume.
Dimensional checks, appearance standards, color verification, insert pull-out checks and functional assembly checks are defined in the project inspection plan. FAI and material reports are supplied as required.
